The task force appointed last month to provide the Government with recommendations to improve the COVID-19 vaccination programme says its first full report will be ready by next week.
The National COVID-19 Vaccine Operationalisation Task Force comprises members from various industries.
Its preliminary findings and recommendations have been presented to Health Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton and Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
In a release on Wednesday, the task force said, so far, its recommendations have included the increase in the number of vaccination sites to improve accessibility.
The final report will provide more recommendations for expanding access, mitigating vaccine hesitancy, and improving the seamlessness of the national vaccination programme.
Following the presentation of the report, the Task Force said it will be open to engaging with the public and the media to discuss its recommendations.
