Driver involved in crash which killed motorcyclist in St. Elizabeth, charged

The driver involved in the crash which claimed the life of 19-year-old Kemar Witter on the Top Hill Main Road in St. Elizabeth on Wednesday, has been charged with manslaughter.
Marlon Elliot, 41, from Southfield in St. Elizabeth, was charged by the Junction Police and later offered station bail in the sum of $400,000.
He is scheduled to appear in the St Elizabeth Parish Court on Monday.
It was reported that about 10.45 a.m., there was a collision involving Witter's motorcycle and a Toyota Noah which was exiting a gas station.
Witter was pronounced dead at Mandeville Regional Hospital.
Six people have been killed in traffic crashes in St. Elizabeth since the start of  the year.
