Eight more COVID-19 deaths confirmed

Eight more deaths from COVID-19 have been confirmed in Jamaica.
The death toll since the onset of the virus in March 2020 is now 3,106.
Seven of the deaths were in Trelawny and one in St. Elizabeth.
The fatalities occurred from August last year to this month.
Jamaica also confirmed 92 cases of COVID-19 from 763 samples tested on Tuesday. 
This resulted in a positivity rate of 14 per cent.
Hospitalisations from COVID-19 have declined to 126.
Eleven of the patients are severely ill and three in critical condition.
