Elaine Thompson Herah defends 100 m title with record run in Tokyo

Elaine Thompson Herah led a Jamaican 1-2-3 to defend her women's  100m Olympic title in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday.

She did so with a new Olympic record time of 10.61, the second fastest time by a woman in the 100 metre.

Her fellow Jamaicans, Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce and Sherika Jackson, came second and third, respectively, Fraser Pryce clocking 10.74 and Jackson, 10.76.
