It's now been six hours since polling stations opened for today's general election, and apart from the late start of voting at one location proceedings have been progressing smoothly.
That exception was at one location in the western Jamaica parish of Hanover, where fire damaged the polling station in Ramble.
The police are yet to ascertain whether the fire was started by arsonists.
