Eleven more people have died from COVID-19 in Jamaica.
The death toll has increased to 1,768.
St. Elizabeth recorded four deaths, while St. Catherine and St. Ann each had two.
The other deaths occurred in Kingston, St. Thomas and Portland.
The Health Ministry says the mortalities occurred from September 6 to 13.
Another seven deaths are being investigated.
Hospitalisations from COVID-19 declined from 760 on Tuesday to 726 on Wednesday.
Some 94 patients are severely ill, while 52 are in critical condition.
Almost 78,000 people in Jamaica have been infected with COVID-19 since the onset of the virus in March last year.
The ministry says 492 cases were confirmed on Wednesday from 1,394 samples, pushing the case count to 77,989.
The positivity rate is 33.7 per cent.
