Fish vendors to be relocated to refurbished Red Rose Market

Mayor of Kingston Delroy Williams
More than 50 fish vendors on Spanish Town Road in Kingston are to be relocated to the Red Rose Market, which was reopened on Monday.
The market, which was closed for almost nine years, has been refurbished.
Mayor of Kingston Delroy Williams said the upgrade is part of plans to remove vendors from the streets of the downtown market district.
Mayor Williams said Jubilee Market will be completed early next year, and will facilitate another 60 vendors from downtown Kingston.
Additionally, the Redemption Arcade will be able to house 30 to 40 vendors when it is refurbished next year.
