Jamaica's COVID-19 death toll has increased to 3,112 after the Ministry of Health confirmed five more deaths linked to the virus.
Four of the deaths occured this month - three of them in St. Ann and one in St. Catherine.
The other confirmed death occured in Clarendon in July last year.
Two more deaths are being investigated by the Health Ministry.
The ministry says 150 COVID-19 cases were confirmed from 750 samples on Thursday, resulting in a positivity rate of 21 per cent.
Hospitalisations from COVID-19 declined by one to 114.
Nine of the patients are severely ill while three are in critical condition.
