Five more COVID-19 related deaths; 186 new cases

Five more people have died from COVID-19 in Jamaica, increasing the total number of deaths from the virus to 697.
 
All the deaths involved persons from Kingston and St. Andrew.
 
Their ages range from 60 to 84.
 
Jamaica's COVID-19 case count has risen at 43,240.
 
The Ministry of Health says 186 cases were confirmed Wednesday from 834 samples.
 
The country's positivity rate is 20.4 per cent. 
 
There are now 22,864 active cases.
 
The number of hospitalisations has however decreased to 367, with 32 patients in critical condition.
