Four people died from COVID-19 in Jamaica on Friday, bringing the country's death toll from the disease to 336.T
The deceased are a 63 year-old woman from St. Elizabeth, an 83 year old woman of a Corporate Area address, a 43 year old man who lived in St. James, and a 61 year old man from St. Ann.
Their deaths came on a day when 114 more COVID-19 infections were cofnirmed, bringing the tally so far to 14,772.
The Corporate Area (Kignston & St. Catherine) leads in the latest tally of infections with 20 new cases, followed by the adjoining parish of St. Catherine with 18.
St. Elizabeth has reported one of its highest one-day infection figure so far with 15 new cases.
St. Thomas, recorded 13 new infections, while three parishes - Manchester, Clarendon, and St. Ann each reported 10.
Westmoreland, which saw a major spike in cases some weeks ago, had no new infection on Friday.
