Fraud probe: Three arrested following MOCA raids in St. James, St. Catherine

Radio Jamaica News has been informed that three people have been arrested following Friday morning's targeted operations by the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency in Montego Bay, St. James and Portmore, St. Catherine.
 
One of the arrests was made at a private residence in Garveymeade, Portmore and the other two in Montego Bay.
 
MOCA says charges will be formally brought against the three, shortly.
 
The operations, which involved MOCA agents and operational support from the Jamaica Constabulary Force, saw teams going to two locations in Montego Bay and Portmore, about 5 o'clock Friday morning, in search of persons suspected to be involved in a $17 million fraud at HEART/NSTA Trust.
 
It's understood that the search and seizure operations yielded electronic devices among other items.
