House passes Dog (Liability for Attacks) Act

The House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon approved 17 amendments to the Dog (Liability for Attacks) Act.
The Bill will now proceed to the Senate.
It introduces criminal liability for persons whose dogs attack or injure individuals because of negligence.
The Bill is intended to repeal and replace the Dogs (Liabilities for Injuries By) Act of 1877.
