The Foreign Affairs Ministry has disclosed that Jamaica is set to receive Covid-19 vaccines from at least five countries based on its vaccine sourcing activities and commitments which have been made.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kamina Johnson-Smith, says this includes the Pfizer vaccine.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry has been collaborating with the Health Ministry and various agencies to connect with other countries and companies to secure the vaccines.
Senator Johnson-Smith disclosed that pledges have been made and there are expectations from Colombia, Spain, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
