Jamaican charged with murder in Toronto

Toronto police have charged a Jamaican man in connection with a homicide investigation in a west Toronto neighbourhood.
City TV News reported that about 3:25 Saturday morning, the police were called to the Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West area.
The police found 38-year-old Toronto resident Rupert Brown suffering from injuries.
Police said Mr. Brown, who is also a Jamaican, was later pronounced dead.
Later in the day the police charged 28-year-old Leahain Malcolm of Toronto with Second-Degree Murder.
He appeared in court the same day.
Data from the Toronto Police say this is the city's 14th homicide of 2021.
