Jamaican remanded in Antigua on ganja charges

A Jamaican man has been remanded in Antigua on ganja charges.
Damien George Wilson, 36, is charged with possession of 10 pounds of ganja.
It is reported that he was held at a property he occupied, during an operation on November 13.
Mr. Wilson appeared in court on Tuesday and was remanded until November 26.
According to a media report in Antigua, this is not the first time the Jamaican has been in trouble with the law.
In 2017, he was ordered deported.
The order was challenged by his attorney and has reportedly not gone through the court process.
In 2012, Mr. Wilson was shot outside his shop.
