Jamaican woman arrested for ganja seizure, stolen items in Bahamas

A Jamaican woman and a Bahamian man are in police custody in northern Bahamas in connection with the seizure of ganja and stolen items.
 
They were arrested on Tuesday.
 
It is reported that the police and immigration officers went to an area on one of the Abaco Islands about 1 p.m.
 
They discovered a number of stolen items and 10 pots of ganja plants.
 
The 46 year-old Jamaican woman, who was found at the location, was taken into custody.
 
During further searches in the area, the police discovered 50 additional ganja plants.
 
A 44 year-old Bahamian man was taken into custody.
