Jamaica's COVID-19 death toll now stands at 14

The death toll in Jamaica from the outbreak of the coronavirus – COVID-19 - now stands at 14, with one more death reported on Sunday.

The deceased is a 37 year old man from St. Catherine. 

A statement from the Ministry of Health & Wellness Sunday night said it was a local transmission which is not yet epidemiologically linked.

The ministry said 20 more cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Jamaica, increasing the tally to 1,023. One is an imported case with an address in St. Thomas. Nine are contacts of confirmed cases.

The other individuals are from St. Mary and St. Thomas.
