Jamaica's COVID-19 positivity rate has surged to an all-time high of 68.9 percent.
The Ministry of Health says 1,262 cases were confirmed on Thursday from 2,915 samples.
The number of people hospitalised with COVID-19 is now 392, up from 388 on Wednesday.
Thirty-seven patients are severely ill, while nine are in critical condition.
At the same time, COVID-19 has claimed three more lives in Jamaica, pushing the death toll to 2,517.
Two of the fatalities occurred in St. Catherine and one in St. Elizabeth.
