The Greater Portmore Police have charged a suspect in connection with the attempted murder of a businesswoman in Gregory Park, St. Catherine on Friday.
Twenty-three year old Orlando Kiven has been charged with wounding with intent, conspiracy and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Investigators alleged Mr. Kiven was among three armed men who attacked and shot the 39 year old shop operator in Christian Pen.
She has been hospitalised.
The suspect was held hours later during a police operation.
