A man was shot dead on the Mount Salem main road in St. James on Thursday.
It's reported that about 6:15 p.m., residents heard explosions and called the police.
Ishamar Campbell, a 29-year-old of West Village in St. James, was found suffering from bullet wounds.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
