Man who confessed to 2018 killing of woman and taxi driver to be sentenced in March

The man who confessed to killing Simone Campbell-Collymore and a taxi driver in Red Hills, S.t Andrew in 2018, will be sentenced on March 11.
The sentencing hearing for Wade Blackwood was postponed in the Home Circuit Court on Friday as the social inquiry report is outstanding.
On the evening of January 2, 2018, Winston Walters was transporting Mrs. Campbell-Collymore home when the vehicle was sprayed with bullets.
Mrs. Campbell-Collymore was shot 19 times and Mr. Walters five times.
Blackwood pleaded guilty in January to two counts of murder and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Mrs. Campbell-Collymore was the wife of businessman Omar Collymore, who is among four persons charged with the double murder which was captured on closed-circuit television.
Mr. Collymore is to return to court on March 24.
