The Manchester Police have charged a 49-year-old mason in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man a week ago.
Wayne Morgan, of Nine Miles in the parish, has been charged with the murder of 32-year-old Floyd Compass.
Mr. Compass, otherwise called 'Pinchy', also of Nine Miles, was killed during a confrontation with the accused on September 16.
The police say about 8:24 p.m., Mr. Compass was at a shop in Spaulding, when Mr. Morgan entered and a dispute developed.
A knife was used to stab Mr. Compass several times.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
