No motive has been established for Tuesday's deadly attack by gunmen on Shortwood Road in St. Andrew.
Thirty-two year-old Gavin Richards, of Windsor Heights, Spanish Town, St. Catherine, was killed about 1:45 p.m.
It was reported that Richards was standing on Shortwood Road with two men, when thugs on a motorcycle drove up and opened fire.
Richards was shot and later pronounced dead at hospital.
The other two persons were chased by the gunmen but escaped.
