Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson has ordered a probe into videos circulating on social media showing a wake which was held recently in rural St. Andrew.
The videos show breaches of the Firearms Act, Disaster Risk Management Act and the Noise Abatement Act.
A statement Monday from the police said the Criminal Investigation Branch and the Inspectorate and Professional Standards Oversight Bureau will conduct a joint investigation.
COVID-19 restrictions currently in place prohibit event permits from being issued and limit gatherings to a maximum 15 people.
A daily curfew from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. is also in place.
