Police recapture last Hunts Bay lock-up escapee

Michael Ellis, one of the inmates who escaped from Hunts Bay Police lock-up on April 19, is back in custody.
 
Senior Superintendent Wayne Cameron, head of the St. Andrew South Police, told Radio Jamaica News that Mr. Ellis, who had been the only fugitive from the group of escapees yet to be recaptured, was nabbed at the Digicel building in downtown Kingston. 
 
Six of the other escapees were recaptured while one was killed during an alleged shootout with the police in Portmore, St. Catherine.
