Princess Margaret Hospital says nurses will receive owed overtime wages in February

By Kimone Witter

Chief Executive Officer at Princess Margaret Hospital in St. Thomas, Melissa Linton, says nurses who did not receive their overtime wages in December will see it reflected in their salaries next month.

Nurses at the hospital are reportedly upset about the delay.

Radio Jamaica News was informed that the payment was pushed back for January. However, that payment was not reflected in the January salaries.

Checks revealed that the non-payment was due to issues in the hospital's Accounts department.

The hospital's CEO says after discussion with the Accounts department, the payments to the nurses should be reflected in their February salaries.
