Six shot dead across several parishes on Sunday

Six people were shot dead by gunmen on Sunday during a wave of shootings in several police divisions across the island.
 
Four other persons were left nursing bullet wounds.
 
The murders were recorded in the St. James, Westmoreland, Clarendon, Kingston Eastern, St. Catherine North and St. Catherine South police divisions.
 
In one of the attacks, a man, 33-year-old Robert Louis Martin, was chased and fatally shot near the toll booth along the Portmore leg of Highway 2000.
 
A security guard and another man are now hospitalised in serious condition after they were attacked by robbers and shot while fishing at Fort Augusta, in Portmore.
 
They were later rescued by other persons and taken to hospital.
