Dr Lucien Jones, Vice-Chairman of the National Road Safety Council
Sixteen people have died in road crashes since the start of the year, up to January 24.
This is a reduction from the 33 fatalities recorded for the corresponding period last year.
While admitting that the reduction is a good sign, Dr Lucien Jones, Vice-Chairman of the National Road Safety Council, is continuing his call for greater caution on the part of road users.
