A farmer of Stepney, St. Ann perished in a motor vehicle crash along a section of the Minard main road in Brown's Town on Thursday.
The man has been identified only as 'Ralph'.
He was a passenger in the back of a Toyota Dyna truck which was travelling northerly when it collided with another truck.
The police say the driver of the Toyota Dyna lost control of the truck and failed to keep left.
Ralph was flung from the vehicle.
He sustained multiple head injuries and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
