The case involving Jermaine Miller, the man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, Nevia Sinclair, has been transferred to the St. Elizabeth Circuit Court.
It will be heard on November 23 following a preliminary hearing.
Mr. Miller was charged with burglary and murder on January 17.
It was reported that on January 12, Ms Sinclair was at her parents house in Brinkley, St. Elizabeth when Mr. Miller entered through a bedroom window and stabbed her to death.
It was reported that Ms Sinclair went to live with her parents after ending her relationship with Mr. Miller.
