A man who listed as St. James' most wanted was held on Friday in Rocky Point, Clarendon.
He is 21-year-old Soniman Walker, a resident of Montego Bay, St. James.
Mr. Walker was held during a police operation.
Investigators say he was making arrangements to flee the country via boat to neighbouring Haiti.
The man is a prime suspect in the murder of a tourist in St. James last year.
