The police are probing the murder of a businessman and the wounding of a woman in St. Thomas Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Michael Young, a chef of Dumfries, St. Thomas.
About 9:45, Mr. Young and other persons were at his business establishment in Myries Plaza when a man walked up and opened gunfire.
Mr. Young ran and was chased by the gunman who shot him.
Mr. Young's girlfriend, who was at the business place, was shot in the hand.
