In St Vincent & The Grenadines on Friday, Magistrate Rechanne Browne adjourned a case in which a nurse is facing two charges related to cocaine with a street value of EC$1.8 million.
Lucresha Nanton, 38, pleaded guilty at the Serious Offences Court to a charge that on January 22 she had close to 60,000 grams of cocaine with intent to supply in her possession.
She pleaded not guilty however to possession of the substance for the purpose of drug trafficking.
The prosecutor told the Magistrate's Court that he needed some time to decide how to proceed with the not guilty plea.
Chief Magistrate Browne adjourned the matter to Monday and allowed the nurse to remain on bail.
