The suspect who was held in connection with the fatal shooting of a man at a party in Stewart Town, St. Mary two weeks ago, has been charged.
Faraji Elliot, 24, was charged on Sunday with the murder of Jermaine Barrington.
Mr. Elliot, who was pointed out on an identification parade, is booked to appear before the St. Mary Parish Court on Thursday.
Investigators reported that on May 8, Mr. Elliot and Mr. Barrington were involved in an altercation at a party.
It's alleged that Mr. Elliot left and returned with gunmen who shot Mr. Barrington several times.
