Three persons have been shot, two fatally, in separate incidents in Westmoreland over the last 24 hours.
Those killed have been identified as 24 year-old labourer Owen Browne and 37 year old cook shop operator Joel Frazer who were from Savanna-la-mar.
Shortly before 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Mr. Browne and another man were walking along Hudson Street when four men drove up in a Toyota Axio.
Three of the passengers exited the vehicle and opened gunfire on both men.
Mr. Browne was pronounced dead at hospital and the other man admitted in critical condition.
About three hours later, Mr. Frazer was at his cookshop on Meyler Avenue when men on two motorcycles drove up.
He was shot by the pillion passengers.
Mr. Frazer died at hospital.
