A High Court judge in Trinidad yesterday denied a motion filed by former finance minister Karen Nunez-Tesheira alleging breach of contract ahead of the ruling People's National Movement's internal election.
Justice Devindra Rampersad rejected the application sought by Nunez-Tesheira, who was challenging the holding of the internal election over three separate days and sought to postpone it until the determination of the substantive claim.
The substantive claim was that the decision to spread the election from one to three days was unconstitutional.
