Trinidad and Tobago has recorded its second coronavirus related death.
In a statement Friday morning, the Ministry of Health said the elderly man had pre-existing medical complications.
The Health Ministry also revealed that one person who was being treated at hospital for the coronavirus, has been discharged.
Meanwhile, the Tobago House of Assembly announced Friday morning that a healthcare worker at the Scarborough General Hospital has tested positive for the virus.
The Tobago Regional Health Authority says the worker has been isolated and meetings held with members of staff who were provided with psychological support.
