Two Jamaicans, two Caymanians charged following ganja seizure

Two Jamaicans and two Cayman nationals have been charged following a joint maritime operation between the Cayman Islands Coast Guard and the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard.
 
The coast guards seized 560 pounds of ganja during the operation conducted last Friday.
 
The operation was being conducted in international waters about 1:50 p.m. when a vessel heading towards Grand Cayman was intercepted.
 
The vessel was carrying multiple packages of suspected drugs.
 
The four men, the vessel, and the packages were transported to Grand Cayman.
 
The men appeared in court in the Cayman Island on Monday where they were remanded until October 8.
