Two shot, one fatally, on Barnett Street in St. James

The Montego Bay Police have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the gun attack on two employees of an appliance store on Barnett Street in the St. James capital on Monday.
One employee was killed and the other is in hospital.
The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Jermain Cardoza of Salt Spring, St. James.  
According to reports, about 5:30 p.m., a group of men armed with guns entered the appliance store.
They then shot Mr. Cardoza and his colleague multiple times.
The gunmen reportedly escaped in a waiting motor vehicle.
The police recovered two cartridges and sixteen spent casings from the scene.
