A US fugitive was arrested on Tuesday in Kingston.
Ranje Reynolds, a 24-year-old from Maryland, was wanted in connection with a murder in Washington, D.C. in January.
The authorities say Mr. Reynolds shot and killed 27-year-old Tarek Boothe, of Virginia, after the two men were in an argument.
Members of the United States Marshals Service Florida and Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force were involved in taking Mr. Reynolds into custody.
US media reports say he will be returned to Washington, D.C. where he will be charged with first-degree murder while armed.
