Westmoreland fisherman charged for attempting to rape child

A Westmoreland fisherman who attempted to rape a child last month has been charged.
The 42-year-old man has been charged with forcible abduction, attempted rape and grievous sexual assault.
It's reported that, about 8:00 p.m., the man was asked to assist a child to the shop, on his motorcycle.
