Debating COVID-19 vaccine equity

The BBC reported last week that it had obtained a leaked document which suggests that wealthy countries are blocking proposals to help developing nations increase their vaccine manufacturing capabilities.

Several poorer countries have reportedly asked the World Health Organization to assist them, but richer nations are reportedly resisting provisions in international law that would enable them to achieve this.

This issue was discussed on the latest edition of Radio Jamaica's weekly news review show - That's a Rap - hosted by Earl Moxam, with panelists, economist Chris Stokes and attorney at law Clive Munroe Jr.
