Eight months after their last T20 international, the West Indies take on New Zealand in the opening encounter of a three match series early Friday morning, Jamaica time.
The two time world champions are looking to improve on a poor away record against the Kiwis. The Caribbean team swept Sri Lanka 2-0 in their last T20 international series but will be without key elements from that success in the likes of Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo.
The Kiwis will be without their inspirational leader in Kane Williamson. The match bowls off at 1:00 am Jamaica time on Friday.
