Atomica the ante-post favourite for inaugural Mouttet Mile

Gary Subratie's classy filly Atomica looks well set to capture the inaugural staging of the richest ever race at Caymanas Park as she takes on 15 Graded Stakes rivals in Saturday's Mouttet Mile.

Jamaica Derby , 1000 Guineas and Jamaica Cup winner Atomica along with Mahogany, Calculus and Blue Vinyl and to a lesser extent Runaway Algo and Excessive Force are the prime contenders for the big event which carries a massive purse of US $125,000 or approximately JA $18 million.  

Atomica who will be ridden by customary rider Dane Dawkins, is the 2–1 ante post favourite.

This event will close the programme at 5:00 pm. The 11-race card gets underway at 11:00 am.
