Brathwaite's X1 struggling in intra-squad warm-up game

Kraigg Brathwaite's X1 were left struggling at 112-7 in their first innings reply against Jason Holder's X1 at stumps on day three of the team's second practice game at Old Trafford.

Kyle Mayers was 40 not out and with him at the close was Jamaican Marquino Mindley on 9.

Shannon Gabriel with 3-34 has been the pick of the bowlers for Holder's X1 so far.

Brathwaite fell for 3, while Jamaica's John Campbell made 4.

Earlier, Trinidadian Joshua da Silva scored the first century of the West Indians’ warm-up games after carrying his bat.

Da Sliva who resumed on 60 was left unbeaten on 133, as Holder's X1 posted 272 all out in their first innings after they began the day on 120-5.

Preston McSween claimed the last three wickets for Brathwaite's X1 to end with figures of 3-28 from 10.5 overs.

Jamaicans Oshane Thomas and Marquino Mindley were also among the wickets with one each from the second day's play.
