Cardenas reels off second hat-trick in two days at Caymanas Park

Former champion jockey Dick Cardenas dominated Saturday's nine race card at Caymanas Park with a second three -timer in two days.

Cardenas first rode the Anthony Nunes-conditioned 5-2 chance  Baltursol to victory in the $850,000-$800,000 claiming contest going five furlongs round.

The Panamanian returned in race 8 astride Lorne Kirlew's 2-1 shot Jensuneera Steel in the restricted allowance 5 contest for native bred and imported 4 year old and up going over the 5 straight course.

He teamed up again with Nunes for the final race on the programme, piloting 3-1 chance Glock past the post first in the restricted allowance 2  contest for native bred and imported 3 year old and up going 5 furlongs round.

Racing continues on Saturday.
