CEO says CWI not in a position to host games at the moment

Chief Executive Officer of Cricket West Indies (CWI) Johnny Grave says supporters in the region will have to be patient when it comes to seeing international cricket back in the Caribbean.

As it stands, the Windies men's tour of New Zealand in November will be their second since the COVID-19 pandemic, having toured England in July.

Grave says while CWI does not benefit from away tours, at the moment, the board is not in a position to host games.

grave says however that the 2021 summer could be a busy period in the region. Grave was speaking on the Mason and Guest show in Barbados on Tuesday.
