Changes on the horizon for JFF constitution

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Kayon Raynor

There could be a number of changes to the JFF’s constitution which has been sent to FIFA for approval. After sending the draft to FIFA in August 2019, the JFF was expecting to make the changes to the constitution at the last congress, but will have to wait a bit longer.

Listed in the proposal is a move to 60 voting members. The breakdown shows the 13 parish associations getting 2 votes each, a similar number for each of the 12 professional clubs.

There will be a vote each for referees association, the coaches association, the players association, the Women's Football Association, ISSA, JISA and the Intercol Association.
