Charges could be filed against crew members who attacked world javelin champion

Reports out of Grenada indicate that charges could be filed against several crew members of a party boat who launched a vicious physical attack on the country's 2-time men's world javelin champion Anderson Peters on Wednesday.

Several crew members have been detained by the police following the assault on peters. Peters is presently receiving medical attention for minor injuries.

Police are yet to share details about the incident, but videos circulating on social media show crew members physically assaulting Peters and then throwing him into the sea.

Meanwhile, the Grenada Olympic Committee (GOC) has condemned the attack on Peters, calling the act cowardly.
