Despite being given a vote of confidence by the Technical and Development Committee and also the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), there's still doubt as to whether Vin Blaine will continue as head coach of the senior Reggae Girlz.
According to sources, the JFF Technical Committee met and decided to continue supporting Blaine as they see no reason for his services to be terminated.
It's understood that the findings were presented to the executive of the JFF who accepted the decision not to terminate Blaine's contract.
Blaine is believed to have hinted at resigning in the interest of the programme. His position as coach became questionable after 20 players signed to a letter criticizing his coaching methods.
A decision could be expected as early as Wednesday. The Reggae girlz will take part in the CONCACAF final round world cup qualifiers in July where they will play in Group "A" alongside host nation México, Haiti and the United States.
